The 146 is a piston filler in black precious resin with an ink window and a two-tone nib of 585 gold, available in the usual widths from EF to BB.
Anyone after a particular nib width does better with a bricks-and-mortar dealer than by mail order, because there the nib can be tried before purchase — the writing experience depends more on the width and grind of the nib than on the model.
