There is no official figure. Montblanc's Artisan pieces were not issued as a numbered Limited Edition but as elaborately made special models with no fixed edition size. Anyone looking on a Magic Beauty for an edition number or a certificate stating a print run will therefore find neither, and their absence is no sign of a fake in this series.
Collectors report that only a few were built; Montblanc has never published exact numbers. That leaves condition, the completeness of case and papers, and comparison with prices actually achieved for similar Artisan models as the only guides to valuing a pen on offer. Membership of the Artisan series says nothing about value on its own, and without a stated edition size particular rarity cannot be demonstrated either.
