The anniversary edition, limited to 1924 pieces of each model, came onto the market in 1999 and consisted exclusively of Solitaire versions, that is, models with metal bodies. A classic black Meisterstück 144 in precious resin was never part of it. What was offered were sterling silver bodies with the Barley and Pin Stripe patterns as well as Doué versions with a silver cap, all with rose-gold-coloured trim.
Converted into euros, the launch prices of 1999 were around 1,330 euros for the Solitaire Sterling 146 LeGrand fountain pen and about 1,200 euros for the matching 162 rollerball. The Solitaire Sterling 144 Classique fountain pen cost about 1,050 euros, the 163 rollerball and the 164 ballpoint around 850 euros each. The Doué versions came in lower: about 895 euros for the 146 fountain pen, around 770 euros for the 144 fountain pen and 690 and 590 euros respectively for the 162 and 163 rollerballs. Alongside these, smaller runs of 75 pieces each in white gold appeared in the same year, among them a Skeleton 149 in gold at what was then around 25,570 euros.
Limited models were supplied in all the usual nib widths as a matter of course; only on very small models such as the Mozart 114 is the choice restricted at the broader end, because of the small nib.
