The box is genuine; the waxy white substance in the lid logo is not part of the original finishing but was subsequently introduced by a previous owner, e.g. as 'customising'. Such colour residues can generally be removed without great effort, without the box taking damage.

Sehr geehrte Community,
ich habe kürzlich einen Montblanc 146 Le Grand erstanden, von dem ich recht sicher bin dass er echt ist.
Anders sieht das bei der dazugehörigen Box aus. Dort besteht nämlich die Innenseite des Logos auf dem Deckel aus einer Art weißem Wachs, das wohl sehr leicht löslich zu sein scheint. So habe ich das noch nicht gesehen, hab aber natürlich auch kaum Erfahrung.Kann man erkennen ob die Box echt ist? Hat man da zum Spaß reingemalt? Wäre um Hilfe dankbar.

Was es nicht alles gibt ;)
Vielleicht versteht man das auch unter "Customizing" :DDie Farbreste konnte man jedenfalls einigermaßen problemlos entfernen.
