Jens Rösler's book 'The Montblanc Diary & Collectors Guide' is dedicated to the history of the Montblanc company and its writing instruments from 1908 to 1947. It provides an extensive overview of the fountain pens produced in this period and describes in detail the development of the firm. For every Montblanc collector the work is regarded as an indispensable standard reference; it is, however, out of print and only very rarely to be found second-hand. The book itself has thus achieved the status of a collector's object.
