The Scryption in Tilburg is a museum devoted to writing instruments. On display are numerous old writing instruments, among them Montblanc pens, together with historic shop counters from stationers and old workbenches that show manufacture as it once was. The collection is complemented by a large number of typewriters and an extensive collection of erasers. The building is small and easy to take in and can be viewed in a manageable amount of time.
The Tilburg Pen Show took place annually in the rooms of the museum, in the year 2004 on 24 September. It is small in comparison with other collectors' fairs; with about 15 dealers, considerably more time remains for conversation than at the large events.
