Based on auction photos, it cannot therefore be reliably said whether an overlay officially comes from Montblanc. Added to this is that with pens depicted closed, the nib cannot be judged, which further complicates an authenticity confirmation. On the accompanying pencil, the visible details mostly look unproblematic.
