What information, factory and ID numbers as well as prices are known about the Montblanc Meisterstuck watch (Quartz and Solid Gold Automatic)?

The number 49392 mentioned does not correspond to any official Montblanc ID number; an unambiguous assignment only succeeds with a photo. The Quartz variant "Star Gilt" with silver dial, ETA movement 955.112, 36 mm stainless-steel case with PVD gold coating, sapphire glass and 30 m water resistance, was offered at a boutique price of 765 EUR. Solid-gold watches appeared as Reserve du Marche, Automatic, Automatic Chronograph, DualTime, Quartz as well as two ladies' Quartz models, each with alligator strap. The solid-gold variant discussed here was the "Large Automatic" with ID number 18602, former RRP 2,750 EUR, which is no longer being produced. A solid-gold execution can already be recognised by the dial.

Hello can someone give me some information about the Montblanc Meisterstuck watch CC 49392 ? I heard it went out of production – could someone please inform me of its boutique price and the movement type.

Hi Rimmerjar,

Sorry, but the number \'CC 49392\' is not a model- or ident-number of Montblanc. So it is impossible to find out what exact model you are talking about without seeing at least a picture.

Yes, this is a Star Gilt (gold plated) Quarz large date watch with silver dial and a brown leather strap, which we still have in stock.

movement is based on ETA 955.112
36mm in diametre
date on the 6
stainless steel body with PVD gold plating
waterresistant up to 30 meters (?)
bossed sapphire glas

Thanks for the info. I believe the watch is a solid gold (18k) variant in the gilt style. I believe the MB number may be 29012 .

I\'ve been told it may have been withdrawn / recalled. :huh:

Hi Rimmerjar,

Solid gold watches of Montblanc have been made as a "Reserve du Marche" (large), an "Automatic" (large), an "Automatic Chronograph" (large), a "DualTime" (large), a "Quarz" (medium) and two different "Quarz" lady styles (small). All with Alligator straps.

My records still gives no answer to your numbers, not even to the 29012.

What kind of watch are you talking about? Don\'t you have a picture? One easily can recocnise a solid gold watch just by the dial.

Hello again, I\'ve had another look and found this picture. I believe it is the "Large Automatic" Gents Size.

I notice it has gold numerals instead of black.

Yes, Rimmerjar,

This looks like a solid gold "Automatic" (large) and used to have the ident number 18602.

The RSP was 2.750,00 €uros but it\'s not in production any more.
