The Montegrappa Techn@ appeared around 2002 as a limited edition of 1,000 pieces in titanium and carbon and was supplied with a leather case of its own. It combines two writing instruments in one: at one end there is a cartridge pen, usually with an M nib, at the other a stylus for touchscreens. What is meant are the pressure-sensitive screens of those years and not the later capacitive ones, which is why this function is now of little practical use. Unused pieces with packaging and papers were changing hands in 2013 for around 200 euros.

The Dunhill ballpoints AD1800 in palladium and AD2000 date, according to collectors, from the period when Dunhill writing instruments were made by Pilot, or Namiki, in Japan. The retractable clip is characteristic of both. Unwritten examples with packaging and papers cost between 70 and 80 euros in 2013.
