For the Bohème with fixed nib, a normal Montblanc converter can be used. With the Bohème with retractable nib, this is structurally not possible, since structurally there is only room for a standard cartridge. Even if a matching converter were constructed, it would hold significantly less ink than a regular cartridge, comparable to the thin small converter of the Waterman Lady Agathe. In practice, refilling empty cartridges by syringe is therefore the more pragmatic solution.
