Adding to the value is original packaging with warranty card (serial number and dealer's stamp are entered there); its absence reduces the collector value. Before the swap, authenticity, nib condition, piston mechanism and cracks should be checked; an assessment in the boutique or at an authorised dealer is the safest option.
