The sealing compound in question comes from Sebastian Schulze in Munich and is mixed in a 1:1 ratio (white and red component); the working time is about 20 minutes. In practice, many collectors also manage without such a sealing compound, when they merely remove, clean and reinsert nibs. Anyone wishing to use it nevertheless should adhere to the manufacturer's instructions, since mixing ratio and pot life are provider-specific.
