The completely solid-silver Reminiscence writing instruments including the grip section still come from the time when the Aquila family was the owner of Montegrappa. After the takeover by the Richemont group (to which Montblanc also belongs), construction and materials were partly changed, so later models are no longer consistently made of solid silver.
