Nakaya fountain pens are described as very good writers. An ordered variant without clip in Tamenuri lacquer becomes somewhat redder in the course of time and develops its own patina. Photos often only insufficiently reproduce the actual colour character of such lacquers.

Yes, I have ordered one pen some time ago and another one is being produced now. A great writer. The pen is the one without the clop in the picture below. It is a tamenuri finish, so the color will become slightly more reddish over time. The picture does not do justice to the nice color of the pen, I must say.
