A simple Excel sheet is generally completely sufficient for managing a fountain-pen collection. The advantage of this solution is that every spreadsheet can be individually adapted to the respective collector's piece and photos can be embedded without problem. Special management software or a CD-ROM is not necessary for this purpose.
