The nib engraving arises in an embossing process, that is, is applied by machine. Manual work at Montblanc essentially comprises the application of a protective foil before platinum-plating, the grinding of the nib tipping as well as the individual writing test for final inspection. Hallo!
Ich trau mich gar nicht diese Frage zu stellen, aber ich weiß ja, dass die Federn von hand gefertigt werden....auch die Gravuren? Oder nur die Gravuren????Das interessiert mich wirklich.....

So weit ich weiß, werden die Federn geprägt.

Hallo an alle,
wenn man sich die Montblanc Webseite ansieht (und seine Internetverbindugn quält ;-) ) kann man sich einige Flash-Videos zur Herstellung der Montblanc Feder ansehen.
(Im Bereich Soulmakers)
Aus denen schließe ich dass sich die Handarbeit auf das auftragen einer schützenden Plastikfolie vor dem Platinieren und auf das schleifen des Federkorns begrenzt.
Und natürlich noch das Testen, ob die Feder perfekt über das Papier gleitet.
