The writing instrument comes from a UNICEF special campaign in which numerous prominent personalities each briefly used a pen and had it engraved correspondingly. Such pieces are real Montblanc pens but no official Limited Editions; rather individually engraved promotional or campaign pens. Comparable constellations turned up earlier e.g. with the so-called Special Edition Willy Brandt. Since Montblanc always also uses its pens as high-quality promotional gifts, the existence of such dedication copies is plausible.
