No. Montblanc never provided a converter for the 147, and technically it would not work in any case: the barrel holds a cartridge carrier that guides the cartridge and takes up the space available, so a converter can be neither seated cleanly nor filled properly inside it. The 147 Traveller is a cartridge pen pure and simple.
Anyone unwilling to give up a particular bottled ink usually falls back on the makeshift familiar among collectors, refilling an empty original cartridge with a blunt needle or a fine syringe; it works, but it is fiddly and never quite clean. The more obvious answer is to use a piston filler such as the 146 for bottled inks and to carry the Traveller as it was intended, on the road and on cartridges.
