The rollerball in the Meisterstück Classique size is the model 163. The same size covers the 164 ballpoint as well as the 144 and 145 fountain pens, while the 146 and the 149 belong to the larger ranges. The model number is not usually marked on the pen itself, so identification goes by design and dimensions.
The string of characters laser-etched on the cap ring is not a model number but an identification number. It has been issued since the early 1990s and allows no conclusion about the model, nor any reliable one about the year of manufacture. What helps instead is a comparison with a size chart of the Meisterstück models: length and diameter separate the ranges reliably, and the type of instrument — fountain pen, rollerball, ballpoint or pencil — separates the numbers within a given size.
