The writing instruments carry a hand-made gold nib of 18 carats which shows a finch as its emblem. It is available in the nib widths F, M and B, so that the pen can be adapted to different hands. The ink system is filled either with a piston converter or with standard cartridges and is considered suitable for air travel.
Each writing instrument is unique and is delivered in a hand-made case of black leather. Besides fountain pens, sketching pencils are also produced. Annual production in 2004 was around 200 individual pieces; the preferred sales region was Asia.
