The Quintessenz is a celluloid fountain pen that Visconti made specially for the Bremen stationery house Dörrbecker and which bears that firm's name. The model is of timelessly classical design and was valued above all for its balanced writing behaviour. The edition size is limited to 88 pieces.
In 2004 the pen was sold directly by the commissioning dealer in Bremen. It thus belongs among the dealer editions that appear in very small numbers and outside the general specialist trade, and which therefore surface less frequently later on than a manufacturer's regular series.
