*Unfortunately missing are, among others, the books by Regina Martini.

Title: The Montblanc Diary & Collectors Guide
This book
(by now itself already a collector's item) dedicates itself to the
Montblanc writing instruments and the history of the company
from 1908 to 1947.
It provides a comprehensive overview of the
writing instruments manufactured by Montblanc during this time
and describes the development of the company in detail.
This book is a MUST for every Montblanc Collector, unfortunately
but it is now only very rarely to be found.

Title: Collectible Stars
In this book the Montblanc writing instruments from
1946-1979 are presented - it is thus the ideal supplement
to the book presented above. "Collectible Stars" focuses primarily
on collectors, it provides a really comprehensive overview of
the fountain pens, ballpoint pens and pencils produced
and also lists corresponding guide prices for new-condition
writing instruments.

Title: Collectible Stars
In this book all limited writing instruments from
1991 to 2003 presented, which is an edition of at least 333
pieces. Too bad actually, because the ambitious
collectors often miss the rarer Montblanc writing instruments
- there are indeed numerous lesser-known editions
with a much smaller Edition.
This book is thus aimed at the "new" collector who first
discovers his passion for Montblanc writing instruments.

Title: Die Seelenmacher - Acht Porträts
This book dedicates itself to the actual "Stars", the
employees of Montblanc. It impresses above all through its
photographs - the writing instruments, bags and watches are virtually
"emotionally charged". Montblanc products are
not just, for example, a bag; they embody
so much more - such as life experience, patience
and precision.
Conclusion: never before has corporate communication been so emotional. |

Title: A History of the Firm Montblanc
This book was created for the inauguration of the new Montblanc building
and places, alongside the writing instruments, the
people who have shaped Montblanc at the forefront.
Through numerous advertising brochures, the development
of the company
is presented with its successes, but also the more difficult times.
At the end of the book you will also find photos of celebrities
who own a Montblanc. |

Title: fountain pen
In this book a variety of writing instrument manufacturers
are presented - including of course also Montblanc. The first
chapters of the book address the significance of writing
and the
history of the fountain pen. A second part presents
a selection of fountain pens, including
der "Rouge
et Noir", mehrere Astoria fountain pen, der 139 sowie "moderne"
fountain pen wie der "Lorenzo de Medici".
The Montblanc collector's heart surely beats faster at sentences like these:
"Of all fountain pens ever manufactured, no matter from which
manufacturer and at what time, the Masterpiece series
by Montblanc is undoubtedly the one that breaks all records in terms of
size, beauty, durability and robustness." p. 173
This book is still partially available in retail. |

Title: fountain pen
The focus of this book is on fountain pens from 1900 to 1945.
A thematic focus regarding a specific manufacturer is not
apparent - Montblanc writing instruments can therefore be found in
this book, however they are for my taste somewhat
underrepresented. Nevertheless it is a truly beautiful book
with numerous illustrations of old fountain pens and many explanations
and notes.
