Montblanc watches were first presented in 1997 at the Geneva Watch Salon S.I.H.H.*
* Also in the 1930s, there was already a manufacturer in Switzerland with the name "Montblanc," but it had nothing to do with the German company. Watches from that time are therefore of no particular value for Montblanc collectors.
