Special Edition (Donation Pens) - Menuhin -
2001-2003
In memory of the violinist and conductor who died in 1999, Montblanc published in 2000 a special Donation Pen Edition for
Sir Yehudi Menuhin.
The clip is a stylized violin neck, the cap rings bear the
signature of Menuhin. On the nib — as already on its predecessor,
the Amber) a dove of peace is visible, symbolising Menuhin’s commitment
to peace and understanding.
Part of the proceeds was for the "Menuhin Festival
Gstaad 2000" (Switzerland) gespendet.
