The writing instruments of the new Montblanc edition are small and inconspicuous - but undoubtedly, the emails from visitors to this website show it, the new Scenium is polarizing!

The following writing instruments have been available from Scenium since Christmas 2003:
- Ballpoint Pen
- Rollerball
- Fineliner

The Scenium Edition is thus the first in which no fountain pen is offered. In other respects, the Scenium is also a rather untypical Montblanc. This starts with the powder-coated brass body and ends with the price.

With a price of ?79.00 for the ballpoint pen, Montblanc can certainly reach a completely new target group.

The Scenium is also characterized by an understatement previously unknown for Montblanc, because although it bears the Montblanc star, the ballpoint pen is hardly noticeable due to the shape of the body and its black color; it convinces more through its simple design. The body is also unusually narrow for a Montblanc writing instrument and thus particularly suitable for left-handed writers.

New is also the way the refill is changed - while the Meisterstücks are screwed on, the Scenium's cap is pushed on. Der Mechanismus of the ballpoint pen is completely removed and now the refill can be changed (see photo at the bottom).

The ballpoint pen (also absolutely atypical for Montblanc) is a push-button ballpoint pen.

The clip looks very robust and stable, but could be a bit more flexible.
