What is special about this fountain pen: The nib can be retracted into the barrel.

Furthermore, the cone of the fountain pen can be opened to replace the cartridge.

These two characteristics correspond to the technology that is also used in the fountain pen "Friedrich II", the 1999 Patron of the Art edition.
