The entire overlay is made of 750 white gold, with a stylized spider web reproduced.
As a special feature, the spider's body is formed by 2 black diamonds - truly a real black widow. This new Skeleton Edition delights once again with the many different, loving details that can also be found on the ink piston (see photos below). A spider waits in its web for "prey". More precisely, as in nature, of course at the edge of the web, which is why 2 photos were necessary.
The cap top is made of mother of pearl, the knurled knob at the end of the fountain pen and the cap end (see photo) are separately excluded from the shaft / cap design. Here is where the continuation of the web is found.
The nib also shows a spider web.
The entire fountain pen makes a very solid and heavy impression, the balance is well achieved so that you can also use this fountain pen for daily correspondence. The size is approximately that of the 149.
This fountain pen can only be purchased in selected Montblanc boutiques. With only 88 pieces worldwide, it will be difficult to find the right one. An email to the Montblanc website might help.
