The Meisterstück Nikolai I. is reminiscent of the use of precious stone malachite of the Russian imperial court. This beautiful green gemstone is one of the typical characteristics of tsarist splendor.

This Meisterstück is available in two different variants:
- Vermeil
(gold-plated 925 sterling silver, available since 1998)
- Platiniert
(platinierter Messing-Korpus,
in the photos you can see the Platinum version, available since late 2000 / early 2001)

Both variants are no longer produced!

Nib: 18kt Gold (750) with platinum inlay
Nib Widths: EF, F, M, OM, B, OB, BB, OBB
Grip section: Montblanc precious resin

This wonderful fountainpen features a wonderful Malachite casing. This gemstone is the typical sign for the last Russian Czar family.

This Montblanc series is avaiable in two versions:

- Gold-Plated 925 sterling silver with pinestrip-finish
(available since 1998)

- Platinum-Plated (available since the end of 2000/beginning of 2001)

Both versions are not produced any more!
