The Meisterstück Solitaire Stainless Steel was named fountain pen of the year 2000 in the magazine Scriptum.
Exactly for the 75th birthday of the Meisterstück, this fountain pen was introduced, which is made from American
Stahl
316 L is made of. This material is particularly low in carbon, enriched with chromium and molybdenum and is therefore particularly
hard and corrosion-resistant. Despite (or perhaps because of) the hardness of the steel, you like to hold the fountain pen.
You should have dry fingers, however, as fingerprints appear very quickly.
When filled, the 146 weighs about as much as a Nikolai I. Compared to the Nikolai I., the Stainless Steel is characterized by an understatement previously unknown from Montblanc.
