Montblanc Meisterstück
- Solitaire Royal -
Black Diamond

Here you can see the 146 Solitaire Royal Black Diamond, one of my personal favorite writing instruments from Montblanc.

The body and cap are made of platinized white gold and are set with a total of 4654 deep black diamonds. The diamonds are each cut with 56 facets and are set in a pavé setting. In total, the diamonds correspond to 17 carats of Top-Wesselton quality.

The fountain pen rests well and is balanced in the hand by weight; however, with the cap attached, it is somewhat heavy for my taste when writing.

The Solitaire Royal Black Diamond is truly an extraordinary writing instrument that now stands as the most precious writing instrument of all time in the Guinness Book of Records and is also recommended in the "How to spend it" Winter 2003 edition of Financial Times Germany.

Interested parties must, however, plan for a waiting time of 6 months, which is how long the production of this wonderful fountain pen takes. (In the meantime, one can console oneself with a "Magical Black Widow" or another skeletonized writing instrument.) Or you can buy a matching chronograph in white gold with a black dial, 108 white diamonds (1.8 carats), and 4 black diamonds (0.2 carats). To match, there are also corresponding cufflinks with white and black diamonds.

Many greetings
HMS
