The fountain pen rests well and is balanced in the hand by weight; however, with the cap attached, it is somewhat heavy for my taste when writing.

The Solitaire Royal Black Diamond is truly an extraordinary writing instrument that now stands as the most precious writing instrument of all time in the Guinness Book of Records and is also recommended in the "How to spend it" Winter 2003 edition of Financial Times Germany.

Interested parties must, however, plan for a waiting time of 6 months, which is how long the production of this wonderful fountain pen takes.
